We understand that some veterans may be reluctant to commit to a trip. Some tell us they don’t feel deserving. Others don’t want to revisit difficult memories, or in the case of Vietnam veterans, risk feeling scorned and unappreciated. But read what our veterans who have participated in trips have to say, and that reluctance will likely change.
At the end of each trip, we survey all participants for feedback and comment on their experience. An overwhelming number —more than 95% — have told us they would recommend the Tour of Honor to other veterans. The words most frequently used to describe the experience are Sensational, Rewarding and Well Planned. Some recent comments speak volumes.
We encourage all veterans to submit an application to go on their Tour of Honor

“I am 81 years old, a Marine, and suffer from PTSD. I returned from Vietnam in 1967 and spoke to no one about Vietnam for 55 years. On the tour, I met two other Marines who served in Vietnam while I was there (i.e. 1966 to 1967). Reminiscing with them has been wonderful. Also, we live near one another. I truly hope to continue these new comrades (friends).”
