Flight Information

The national Honor Flight organization has approved local hubs to resume trips (with new requirements) beginning August 16th.  Our board, for Honor Flight Central Coast California, has reviewed the new rules and elected to postpone all trips until 2022.  This decision is in line with other organizations in the western states.  

 

There are several reasons driving this decision: current Covid restrictions require trip attendees to wear masks the entire time they are on planes, in airports, on buses and at all activities (excluding active eating and drinking). Some of our usual trip stops are not yet available, and should any trip attendee become ill while travelling, quarantine requirements are extensive and can affect the entire group. This is not our idea of a good, safe (or fun) trip. We are eager to get going again, but with trips that reflect our high standard of excellence. We anticipate being able to do so by next spring.
